Instructions: Save the file to your disk, browse the file, double click on it and follow the screen instructions.

 

 

If you are using version 2.0.6 or lower, you may want to update to 2.0.7.  To check which version you are using, launch the BornoSoft Bangla2000 program, Click on the ‘Help’ menu and select ‘About BornoSoft’ (last item on the drop-down list).  Check the edition and version of your copy on the window that will appear. 

 


Please download the update for the edition that you are using.

Run-time Errors Patch

BornoSoft Patch (Version 203) Posting date: Dec 20, 2002.

This patch will take care of the following issue(s):

 

  • Error Description: “Error 429” with message “You do not have proper license to ...... ”

 

Cause and remedy: Presence of BanglaWord (Bangla Software Group) prevents the operation of BornoSoft Bangla2000 (up to Version 2.0.3). There may be some other programs which may prevent the registration of some BornoSoft files and causing in this error.  This patch will fix the problem and make both programs functional.

 

  • Error Description: “Error 429” with message “ActiveX component cannot create object .... ”

 

Cause and remedy: In some systems (XP and Windows 2000, some 9x) the Spell Checker fails to run due to failure to register. The patch may NOT fix this problem

 

 

 

Error: “The text area is too small for this format setting . . . ”

BornoSoft Font Patch (Version 207) Posting date: Sep 16, 2003

This patch will fix the following issue(s):

Error Description: The program will or will not launch and a error message: “The text area is too small for this format setting ....”

 

Causes and remedy:  Your computer may have old BornoSoft fonts, which were in use during installation and thus could not be removed. As a result new fonts are not taking effect.  Installing this patch should fix the problem.  If it still persists, please check the font folder (My Computer > Control Panel > Fonts) for Ekush_N, Falgun_N and Sutype_N (Sulekha Type_N) fonts and delete them.  If it doesnot allow to delete, you may have to restart the computer and then delete them.
